You make me itch you make me cry.
Once you made me want to die.
You’ve been with me for so long
So I’ve learned to be strong.
You cause me pain & so much strife
And no more will you control my life.
But you never leave, you’re always here
With me through every laugh & every tear.
Dear Psoriasis, there’s something I want to do
That’s take a holiday, just without you.
This is based on a poem I wrote as part of my repsonse to the See Psoriasis: Look Deeper campaign. It’s not exactly what I wrote as I have lost my final draft but thought I’d post this today as part of National Poetry Day.
