I am calling on the help of fellow sufferers of Psoriasis and hope some of you will be able to find the time and be kind enough to help out a young lady from down under as she writes a piece about psoriasis.
Trudie is aspiring to become a journalist and I have got to know her through psoriasis connections on Twitter. She is writing a piece to as she explains below:
My story is a how to, focusing mainly on the ways that people have learnt to “cope” with their psoriasis or have “cured” themselves of it.
I mainly want to know:
1) What are the ways your doctor/dermatologist/specialist have tried to cure you? Using what products or methods?
2) What are the lifestyle changes you have had to make because of your psoriasis? I’ve heard that alcohol and red meat make a huge difference, but I still enjoy them regularly.
3) Have you made any sacrifices due to your psoriasis? Has it affected your daily life?
4) What products have you chosen yourself that prove to be successful? Eg, goats milk soap or coal tar shampoo (products considered natural, rather than creams or ointments).
You can answer in several ways, either contact Trudie directly by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or if you prefer you can use the contact me page on here and I will pass your answers on or you can of course just use the comments function on the blog.
I know Trudie would be very grateful if you could help.
